Pako (Fiddle Fern) Salad for lunch! This is one of my favorite salad, very easy to prepare, healthy and cheap.  Just pick the tender tips of the fern plant or the talbos. Salad would come in varieties; it depends on what you'd want to mix with your salad. Some would add shrimps, boiled or salted eggs, or even fruits. But as for this recipe, I used the basic ingredients:

Pako or fern tips
2 onions sliced into rings

2 cups vinegar
2 teaspoon sugar or more
1/4 teaspoon pepper
salt to taste




Simply add all the ingredients into your mixing bowl. In a few minutes, you have your fresh Pako salad to enjoy. Go for green and enjoy eating! Another variation is adding roasted garlic
