Mesothelioma

my head's really aching right now. and it keeps me from doing my work, i would really love to sleep and you know just let go of everything and let my dreams take me away. but ha! i'm at work.Anyway, i woke up early today, and went to bed very late. maybe that explains my headache, don't you think? Anyway, i picked up a magazine can't really remember what magazine it was but it was a health magazine. and then i started reading about Mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is a disease, it is a form of cancer that is almost always caused by previous exposure to asbestos.ANd what is abestos? It is a group of minerals with long, thin fibrous crystals. And is known to be highly toxic. In this disease, cancerous cells develop in the mesothelium, a protective lining that covers most of the body's internal organs. Its most common site is the pleura , but it may also occur in the peritoneum (the lining of the abdominal cavity) or the pericardium.

Mesothelioma that affects the pleura can cause these signs and symptoms:

* chest wall pain
* pleural effusion, or fluid surrounding the lung
* chest wall pain
* shortness of breath
* wheezing, hoarseness, or cough
* blood in the sputum (fluid) coughed up (hemoptysis)

Anyway i just shared what i was able to learn today. And that magazine i just read today was really very informative.
